First of all on January 23 the kids and I packed up the U Haul and started our journey back to the Springs to get the house ready just in time for daddy's arrival. The trip went great as expected. I swear when my kids are in the car they are angels! They enjoy car rides and sleep the whole time. I usually have to wake them up to take them potty and feed them so the ride was awesome and we had great weather just a little windy.
This is where the trip makes a turn for the worst. I call housing to let them know I will be there with all my documents to sign for the house and somehow the paperwork on there end was lost and they "accidently" gave away our house. I was furious and the manager was out of town and the assistant could have cared less. Thank GOD for my husbands Master Sergent. He unloaded my U Haul into our storage shed and paid for my hotel. Yes I had to stay in a little hotel room from the 25th of Jan. until Feb. 9th when the new house would be ready. It was a horrible hotel stay the kids were bored AND we all got a virus and puked for 2 days. There is a happy ending tho...We were given a WAY better house and they knocked off the first months rent. We got one of the newer houses on base with 3 master bedrooms(each has a HUGE walkin closets and full bath). I am so thankful for all the people that helped me unpack the storage shed and get all of my furniture in place and ready for my husbands arrival. A big thanks to Josh and his friend, Ash, Patty, Jessica, Jenn and her son! You guys ROCK!!!
Needless to say we are all moved in and LOVE LOVE LOVE our huge house! I will attach a few pictures of what it looks like so far.
